COVID Safety

After a difficult year, we’re excited to welcome you back to Tunes in the Dunes in 2021. To ensure we can do this safely, we are implementing a robust COVID Safety policy. Please visit our COVID Safety Hub to learn what you need to do prior to attending the event.

Please visit our COVID Safety hub site to complete your pre-entry questionnaire and find out what you need to do to meet our COVID policy.

Our COVID SAFE Process

Everybody who attends the festival (that includes production staff!) will be required to complete our COVID SAFE process prior to their arrival.

We know that the rules and guidelines can be confusing, so our aim is that our online system will make it clear and simple so that we can welcome you safely and efficiently upon on arrival. Our process will be based on the latest guidance from Public Health England and local authorities.

Our COVID SAFE process involves completing a simple online questionnaire online prior to attending the event, which will guide you through and tell you exactly what you need to do depending on your particular circumstances. This will allow us to ensure you are given the best advice for you, and that we do the right checks when you arrive. There is no charge for completing this process, and you do not need a ticket to do it, so even if you’re unsure about whether or not you will come to the festival we recommend completing it.

Please rest assured that our team is working hard to provide robust COVID safety measures to make the event as safe as possible.

How we’re keeping you safe.

The event organisers have several measures in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We ask that you work together with us to prevent the spread of the virus.

Beyond our COVID SAFE entry process for all staff and attendees, here are a few of the measures we are taking:

  • The majority of the festival is in the open air, where risk of transmission is very low. We have made sure there is enough room on site to allow customers to socially distance if they wish. The best place for socially-distanced viewing is toward the back of the arenas
  • Some of the festival takes place inside marquees. We will ventilate these marquees. Please be aware that some of the more popular  performances may mean that areas are busier at times.
  • There will be additional hand sanitizing facilities around the site, please use these regularly.
  • Our facilities will undergo regular cleaning, including extra regular toilet cleaning.
  • Whilst masks are no longer a legal requirement in enclosed spaces, we ask that customers choose to wear a mask when entering a busy marquee – for example to view a performance or participate in an activity.
