Hey, my name is Marielle and I am a London-based music and travel photographer. I am so excited to be swapping the madness of city life to shoot Tunes In The Dunes in beautiful Cornwall. With so many awesome artists, and being a huge music and surf lover myself, the beach festival is sure to be one of my summer highlights!
I first got into photography around 4 years ago as a hobby before going on and studying it at A-level. While I was doing my A-levels I began my photography career and now work in all areas of photography from selling landscape photos, to lifestyle and product photography as well as weddings. Living in Cornwall it gives me a great opportunity to get out there and capture the variety of landscapes we have from the coastline to the moors and woods. Now having done work in most areas of photography I have found that landscape and lifestyle is what I prefer as a photographer and Tunes in the Dunes will give me a great opportunity to capture in both styles.
I’m a final year Fashion Photography student at Falmouth University, I specialise in skateboard photography and the fashion and lifestyle that surrounds the sport as well as photographing festivals in the summer.
I got into photographing live music 4 years ago, when i started taking photos for my local bands playing in the nearby snooker club, this became a regular occurrence and ever since then I decided i wanted to take it further to festivals. I love taking documentary photos too and decided photographing festivals would be a perfect opportunity to photograph live music and the lifestyle around festivals with documentary shots also! Festival season is my favourite season, I love the atmosphere they have and the energy it gives people and it thoroughly enjoy being able to capture this in my work. This got kickstarted 2 years ago and am currently building up my portfolio of festival photography.
