For the first time ever in six years of Tunes in the Dunes we are faced with no choice but to postpone it. This is a heart breaking decision, but in light of the current global situation and in a bid to help stop the spread of COVID-19 it is within the best interest of public health & wellbeing to move the festival until later in the year. We are very sorry for any inconvenienced caused but hope you will support us in this decision.
Since the pandemic broke out, the team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver the festival you all know and love, whilst keeping your health & safety at the forefront of our operations – it has became very apparent that this can not be achieved in the current climate within the next few months.
Tunes in the Dunes will now take place on: September 25th, 26th & 27th September 2020.
We have reached out to all of the artists who were due to perform, Richard Ashcroft and Ronan Keating are available to headline on the new dates along with 90% of all other artists available for the same day that they were planned for.
It has taken us until now to come back to you with a plan because we have chosen to
reschedule rather than cancel our event. With so many artists playing, countless suppliers, traders, contractors and an army of staff/ crew, as well as finding the right tides to be able to actually do the festival on, it’s a mammoth task with lots of moving parts.
We know many of you have already made plans by booking transport and accommodation for the original dates and for that we apologise for the inconvenience. However we know the majority of hotel and transport companies are now making free amendments, so we hope the majority of you can take advantage of that.
All ticket types will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, if you are unable to make this date we are happy to offer you tickets for next year’s festival dates:
18th, 19th & 20th June 2021

Please remember we are a small team, but we will respond as quickly as we can. None of us wanted this outcome & we are absolutely gutted, but with government restrictions & our huge support for the NHS we had to make this decision. It is a decision that puts not just our passion, but also our livelihoods in the balance like so many others in so many industries as a result of this pandemic.
We promise to provide the festival you know and love, just at a later date. This is the scariest time we have faced as a business and it’s going to be the hardest. We truly appreciate all the time, money and love you have all invested into our festival over the years & we need you now more than ever.
